Special Education Building Substitute
Attleboro High School
Responsibilities:
- Assigned to rotate into general and special education teacher and support staff positions in the school on a daily basis based on staff attendance at team meetings and/or daily needs within the buildings including supervision in non-instructional areas such as lunch, bus duty, passing time, etc.
- Implement teacher lesson plans and administrator directives with fidelity and efficiency.
- Communicates with staff regarding expectations for student work, behavior, and lesson execution.
- Maintains the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which assigned.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Clear oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of college credits; degree in education field preferred
- Experience in a school or community setting working with students with disabilities.
- Experience in deescalation techniques preferred
